my daughter and husband are building a garage and have to make a fill....used a little john deere compact with loader to move 65,000 lbs of fill one day easy....he bought 50,000 of concrete leftovers for $7-ton and we had at least 15,000 of crick gravel. he still needs another truck load.... he used 12inch blocks where fill is. going to have to some work here.

you're going to need a deep footer for that garage because it is on fill...preferably 10 feet deep!

those compact JD's are tough. i know because i used mine for everything possible except pulling a baler. however, everything has it's limits. beware of to much load or hydraulic hoses can rupture. have a nice day.
