i got a monitor for a 6 row ih 800 planter does anyone know where the sensors that tells that no seeds are being dropped? my number 4 row keeps sounding off.

thwey are located in the seed tube in the row unit. Pull the single pin out and pull the plastic tube out and see whatys going on. Alos switch it with another row and see if it still busses if does you need new seed tube sensor. Nothing unusuall just be glad you don't have 24 rows of them they canm be challenge to all keep running.

where do tou run the brush down the pipe to seed drop?

get the brush thats made for cleaning the sensor eye.Run that up and down it a few times solves the problem 95% of the time.Mark

Jim,

Just follow the wires. Probably is in the air tube just before it drops into the shoe.

For what it is worth, they will plant corn without that monitor. :>)
