OK. Let"s hope this works. Here"s my 1971 Massey Ferguson 150 diesel, 8-speed. It was my winter project. Here"s my first crack at posting a picture.

One MINOR detail you might want to think about. If I come over there, you have to FEED me. You might be able to buy a couple new tractors cheaper than that! LOL!

That muffler is cut down to allow enough clearance to get the tractor in my garage while I was finishing the restoration. The shop has 12' doors. Garage has 7'er. I have a new oem muffler with the correct curved top end on it now.

I was going to try that, but now I don't know. None of my old stuff is near as slick as that. Looks great.

You can't go wrong with a job like that. Worth every bit of effort that it took to get it done right. You enjoyed the labor of restoration, now enjoy the fruits of using a tool that will give you many more years of useful life.

I'm not one to own a tractor I can't or won't use. These pictures were taken a few weeks back. Since then, the 150 has logged around 20 hours with a bush hog, along with plowing our garden, and planting a 1/2 acre of sweet corn. It'll most likely see about 150 to 175 hours this summer, mostly bush hogging and raking hay. It took 36 years to wear out the first paint job. If it goes that long again, someone else gets to put the next coat of paint on it.

Good job. If you first don't succeed..... well you could say the heck with it but trying again is the better approach.
