Eastside Portland OR this (Wed) AM: $3.18 Troutdale Arco (cheapest Arco; they range 5-8 cents!) Costco (like Sam"s Club) 3.22, majors 3.35. Diesel probably 10 cents cheaper at majors, didn"t notice elsewhere.

3.26 this morning; 3.35 tonight- that's the price of 87 octane here in NW Oregon. Gonna drive less and buy more livestock. I'd rather eat it than mow it!

Here in Calif.I paid somewhere around 3.689 for the better gas I thought it would help me pass my smog test, passed the test, but I don't think the high test gas had anything to do with it. Stan

if ya got one that has trouble going thru the test lane, add 5 gallons of e-85 to about a half a tank of gas. also retarding the timing a wee bit, and go with a high thermostat. she will pass right thru!!!

$3.05.9---$3.09.9----87 Octane in Wickenburg AZ. For 91 Octane if you have to ask, you probably can't afford it. I don't drive my Truck around to see other folks any more, My new Quad which takes 91 Octane sits mostly [got it Sept.'06 wasn't a wise move], We limit Trips to Surprise which is our main shopping area. Cars and Trucks on US 60 are still driving 75-85 MPH. I don't understand!

Tim,

Unleaded regular gas is selling in the $2.83 to $2.89 range in Middle Tennessee. The discount joints charge about the same as the branded stations.

Paid 2.909 this morning at Sam's club. Saw 3.069 at another station advertized later in the day. None of us like this price, but without the fuel our vehicles can't do what we bought them for.

2.89 here in MD = $1 too much.

expect the price to go up to $4 a gallon this summer.

Boycott gas on MAY 15th. it's the least we can do.

Least in that it'll accomplish NOTHING.
I only buy gas 3 times every 2 weeks anyway. So what if I buy gas on the 14th or the 16th the oil company still gets my money.

Once we top $3/gallon I start buying 5gal totes of veggie oil at BJ's for $2.80 a gallon and running 50% veggie oil in my car.

2.99 to 3.15 here in extreme western NC. Georgia stations on the line are about 10 cents less. If you have to drive 16 miles RT to get cheaper gas the savings is lost. Wife topped off Tues and the uy told her that 5.00 per gallon by end of summer was expected. Now Hugo has nationalized Venezuelas oil and Bolivia is following suit. Maybe we should quit exporting oil from Prudho Bay to Japan????
