hi guys,is this located under the top transmission cover like on the 7020?or right under the rockshaft area?thanks

it is on the front of the transmision behind the clutch housing, (in the split)

does it need to be split?or can i get to it by raising the rear rockshaft,or transmission cover?i'll check in with you afterwhile

You have to split it at the trans and clutch housing to get it out.

ok i'll check it out ,most guys told me i should be able to get it from under the rockshaft cover too maybe,,,its the 2 geared pump,thanks glenn,,,gotta head to karnes city tex at farm

It mounts to and drives off a splined shaft in the front of trans not down inside like others. Read the technical manual for 6030 and it says SPLIT the tractor! If cab, floor plate and heavy rock shaft all need to come off well go ahead but you'll still end up having to split it. http://techpubs.deere.com
