I am in okla and looking at buying a 14 ft hyd-swing mo co that is about 85 miles from me the closet route is down the interstate what problems
would i have. the other routes all have narrow bridges or a dam that is about one mile that the moco would take the whole road. what would you all do?
what are the smv laws?

I towed one a few years ago about 150 miles. Bought it in Iowa, had to get to Kansas, big limitation was bridges accross the mighty mo. But made it and lived to tell about it, you can too. Only had to back off one real narrow bridge and try it again. Scout it out, there should be a route, lots af farms in your area and 14 ft isnt so big anymore. Bought one just this winter and had to pull it about 80 miles all on US highway, good two lane, no problem.

I'd take that tongue off of the mower and haul it on a trailer.

As Greg already said, it cannot go down the interstate. Choose another route, get someone to run interferance for you on those narrow bridges and across the dam, and just make up your mind that that you will be taking the entire road at times and some folks are going to be really mad at you, and watch out for the mailboxes on the right side of the road.

If it goes down the interstate it will need to be disassembled and loaded on a trailer. (no farm machinery allowed on the interstate).
