Something is plugging the fuel flow into the carb bowl - it starts and runs until the bowl is empty - then dies- go back 20 minuteslater and it does the same thing agin - the bowl is taking too logn to fill

I always took the adjustment screw out of the bottom of the carb in the spring. let it drain the carb with the gas off. Then I turned on the gas to make sure the fresh gas was flowing. Then I reinserted the screw it till it was snug. After that I backed it out 1 1/2 turns. This seemed to be a good starting point in the carb adjustment.

Need more info here. Did you try looking in the carb bowl for water or dirt? Does it quit like you turned off the key. Or does it run rough and just stall. Blade engage switch and seat switch will keep it from running.
But my guess would be to remove the carb bowl and have a peek inside, you might find water or dirt. Clean and re adjust.
Could be it just needs a little tweek on the mixture screw.
