question power unit looks like a b c farmall eng ?

i found a Ericson lift unit & the eng looks just like my farmall C eng i bought it from old guy & took the carb & manifold home to match up to mine lookd same anyway is there a # or something that will say what block it is ? only other thing i think ill take off it is the head but if its an super block ? id like to keep any ideas ?

Not much difference in the A or Super A, C etc. Larger sleeves and pistons, and an increase in rpm"s made the difference. Locate the sn plate, should be on the flywheel housing, probably left side. The model data on the top line should give you some idea. LE

If it were me, I'd bring the whole thing home. Then you can pick and choose and sort the good from the bad. If any of it goes for scrap, you might as well reap the benefits instead of someone else.
