A few weeks ago I asked about why the brakes and steering would quit when the clutch was depressed. Well last week I took it to the shop. They fixed it up and I brought her home yesterday. The gaskets were blown in the pump. All was well until I got ready to park it last night. Then the steering won't turn the brakes go to the floor. Is this going to be an ongoing problem for the tractor? What could be happening here? I will admit it was dark and I have not been able to go look at it today, had to work. Could a line blown off or something? Never had IH before so I don't know much about them. Always had JD or MF. Well thanks for reading and any advice you guys may have will be appreciated.

Well i would have to say that the guy- guys that are working on it plum don't know what they are doing as if all they installed was a gskt. then the gskt. is blowen again BECAUSE THEY DID NOT PUT THE O / RING Along with the gskt. and i'll bet they never put the pressure gauges to her to check and make sure that there was not a problem with the pressure reg. system .

Call the shop and tell 'em to come get it. You shouldn't have to pay for a repair twice.

I agree with Jim; bet it's the gasket or o-rings again.

There's several things that it could be but I'd think it probably blew an O'ring at the pump or the valve body that they didn't get put in quite right.

You sure should talk to them before you do anything.Could be warrantied.

Jim
