Well,

It certainly isn't my best effort by a long shot, but I think I've finally got this old bag stuck together to a functional degree.

Since I moved the whole loader rearwards roughly 8 to 10 inches in regard to it's position on the tractor, I had to make new rear strut support gussets and glue 'em to the loader mount frame so that I could then bolt it to the rear tractor axles.

I've had this silly loader off and on about three times now, but I'm going to pull it one more time. I've still got to shim that front carrier out another 1/8" so that it will "bottom out" and in effect, "push" the loader instead of the frame having to do it.

Maybe by noon tomorrow, I can get into the corral and start pushing manure. Don't know which is worse tho. :>)

Looks good on there and with it moved back like that should help it balance out, might have to put some wheel weights on if it does not have 3pt. Years ago i saw a G moline with an F-11 on and the guy actually moved the front axle on the tractor ahead about two feet on an extended frame to get the front wheels closer to the bucket and more weight on the rear, but it looked kind of funny. That is one of the longest, heaviest quick tach loaders i have seen, should handle anything you throw at it, take care.

When I talked to an old Navy buddy a few weeks back, he said, "In my younger days I used to entertain myself with wine, women & song. Now it's beer, the old lady, & T.V.!"

... And old tractors. At least they don't talk back!
