You must be in my general neck of the woods. Both those fellas are probably pretty close to the right price.Another thing you could do is check with your local extension office.I know they put out a list that gives the high and low and average prices for the state. The last one I got was about 3 yrs. ago(not worth the paper its wrote on due to fuel prices).Good luck.Maybe it will stop snowing.

It all depends on what tractor you are using. I charge $50 and hour for my Kubota L-285 30 HP.
And $65 an hour for my Case LA 80 HP If I was running my friends IH 1066 I would charge around $85 an hour. I also have a $200 Minimum.

I have a custom plowing business going here in central Wisconsin. I do about 1000 acres a year of moldboard and chisel plowing. I have been charging $11 an acre for chisel and $13 an acre for moldboard plowing, and the customer supplies the fuel. This is by no means a primary source of income, just something I like to do. To be worthwhile, I would guess you need to charge $50 an hour or more for the work you are considering. Even if your equipment is paid for, etc., the wear and tear, and other uses of your time requires at least that amount per hour. Wayne
