Been thinking. that's dangerous for me but maybe there's something to it. For a while (when my wife was going through that change of life thing) I thought that this huge babyboomer generation and all those hotflashes was causing it. But now with all this cold and wind we're getting I think all the hot air in Washington DC is heating up the atmosphere and warm air is rising so fast all that cold air from up north is rushing in. Seriously though it does seem to be very windy anymore. Anyone else notice this?

If we are warming up as some say how come those WW2 airplanes that ran out of gas and landed in GREENLAND are now burried a couple hundred feet deep in ice?

As far as I can remember it's just as windy here in W. Colo. as it always has been and at the same times of the year.

It's a funny thing. It's not that the world is getting warmer evenly but that the patterns change.

Looking at the glaciers melting back around the world (by 100's of yds in the last 30 years) and the perma-frost in Alaska and Siberia melting something is certainly happening.

You can argue that it isn't caused by humans but something is going on. If the patterns change so much the gulf stream stops, europe will get colder !

No I didn't see that movie.

That mini ice age is what I'm going with. It's a 700 year cycle caused by the steady pulsing of the sun. We passed the peak of heating in the late 90s. I'm not going to pick a fight with anybody about it,won't even argue. That's just what I'm counting on as I live my life. We planted 107 day corn in the early 90s. We're down to 92-95 day now. Fully expect we'll be looking for a good 88-90 day in a few years. Planting more grass hay instead of alfalfa, less winter kill. The rest of you go right ahead and believe what you want to. We'll see who comes out right in the long run,if I'm wrong,oh well.

I'm 68 an when I went to grammar school back in the olden days I was told that the earth was still warming up from the last Ice Age and that NY City and the east coast would be flooded when its back to normal. Funny thing this was all before we even new it was us who doing the nasty deed. Well live an learn I guess.
Walt PS ever wonder how all that oil got way up there on the Arctic Circle. Must have been a lot warmer than it is now.

They kept Algore and John Kerry out of the White House. Good enough for me.

"Can any one tell me one good thing King George and Big Dick have done for our country?" Not sure what this has to do with the original post. I will answer anyway. For one thing they kept Al Gore and John Kerry from being president.

What? You don't believe in Al's CROCUMENTARY!!? Or his ownership in the Carbon Track buyout? Or his inventing the Internet? Or that he was raised on a farm in Tennessee? I get so sick of all the BS coming out of all the politicians mouths! Has everyone seen the timeline and happenings that surround Bill and Billary's political life? How can they get away with all that..... ...I wish I hadn't started....wrong place...it just kind of starts to bubble....where do Jesse J. and Al S. work? What would THEY do if we all got along..... .gotta go outside and cool off....Later, Mike.
