Alan --

They register tractors in the U.K. just like we register cars here in the States. Those letters and numbers equate to the license plate on your automobile.

Thanks, didn't know that and kept seeing that on those tractors.

Here's a couple photos of one of my B-275s in slightly different weather conditions than in your photos.

Looks like a pretyt nice rig- figure I may as well show a shot of our main plowing rig on our farm. Oliver 1855 with a Oliver 346 4-16 semi-mounted plow. Has a harrow mounted on the side too..

Maybe this spring I can try to get a better picture while plowing a hay field under for corn...

You bring back a lot of Memories to this 70 year old former Farmer Don. I've got a picture around some where of me in the early "70's" on my AC 190 with a 5/14" Slat Board Snap Coupler Hitched AC Plow when they both were new plowing Pasture Sod and really was throwing the Dirt.No Cab,No Flashing Lights,No Heat Houser, just me and the AC throwing dirt and enjoying a Spring day in North Central ILL.

Hmmm, I guess you got me by almost 1/2 a century- I'm only 22 right now. I had a weather brake on the 18 that fall too, it was pretty cold out but with that thing on I was roasting in my hooded sweatshirt-couldn't take it off though because when I went the other way the wind would come in the back and cool things down quite a bit... Done plenty of plowing without the weather brake though, and quite a bit of manure hauling when I was even younger with my 1600 in the middle of winter. No weather brake for that one either....
