OT DUH Any I Tunes users or experts out there??? Is there any way I can save my Library play list which is a complete listing of all my 7000 songs (and old time radio programs) with the Artists and Genres so I can edit it and save as a Word Document doc file????? ????? ??? The File Menu has a Print option to print out my entire song list, buttttt tttt with 7000 files its kinda long winded (just like meeeee eee) so I wanna convert or save it as a Word Document to edit n segregate n shrink the text size etc . Ive tried about all options to save the Library, but none allow me to save it as a file of any kind, its print or nuttin.

Ol John T and all

Hello John, I just tried this. Not sure if this will help but if you copy the entire file off I Tunes at one time, using "Control A" then right click to "copy". Then open a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet. In any cell right click and "paste". The I Tunes data will then be in the spreadsheet and you will be able to edit anything you like or print all or any part you want by copy and pasting into individual sheets or into the word documents. Also, now that you have it in a spreadsheet, save an initial copy and leave it alone. That way as you play with it if you get it messed up you can always go back to the that point and pick up where you started. If you make changes and you like them save them often. That way you can always step back if get too far and don't like the changes. Two things that might help if you click on the top of a column (for example "b") that has all data in the cells you can change the copy to whatever you want in the entire column at once while it is selected (darkened) Simply clicking on any cell in the sheet goes back to normal. Second the very top left box (outside the spreadsheet, one up and to the left of A1 will select the entire spreadsheet. If you select it and change your copy style and or size it will change in the entire spreadsheet. You can also increase or decease the size (percent %) of the spreadsheet seen so you can have more data visible on a single screen. Have fun and don't forget to save your file often as you go along. Depending on the version of Excel you have there are good help screens and even an animated tutor to help you along. HTH
