Yup,I bought that Oliver 265 18' field cultivator for $325. Boy,somebody sure got reamed on that 1250 Oliver. He bid 2000 on it and got stuck with it. Nobody else even bid. That 770 was super sharp. Four new tires, flat top fenders, checkerboard grille, deluxe seat, nice 1610 loader,3016 hours for 4450.Didn't think that was bad at all for the shape it was in. Did you see that old Oliver 3 bottom plow sell? One bottom missing, all the tires flat, ladder lift, $95. I know steel is high,but...

I liked that 1250, nice shape, didn't think 2000 was too high for it. Nope, i didnt see that plow sell. I was interested in the 6 ft IH bush hog and allis cultivator, but they went too high for my liking. The IH 1066 that sat alone with the ford, that was bid up by the owner and a friend, as he had to have at least 5600 for it, so he kept that.

That 1250 looked nice, but wait until he tries to find parts for it. It was made in Italy by Fiat. Danny Bowes Import Tractor Parts is the best source of parts for those things and he has written in big red letters "No Oliver 1250 four cylinder parts". Eerybody that I talked to about that 1066 wondered if there might be a problem with it. I'm wondering if that stalk chopper might have been quite a bargain. It only brought $400.
