Hi Gang;
Whilst in the NH dealers in Shropshire saw this secondhand BESSON 7 furrow reversible plough.
Yes it needs the board geasing up ! The implement behind is a packer-roller.
Cheers David

David: What size are those plow bottoms (furrows); 14; 16; or 18 inches? Also I don't think that packer is attached to the plow. Armand

Wow it does look longer in the the hitch area. A local welding/machine shop here made some 9 bottom roll over plows of their own frame design but using JD shanks and bottoms. Amazingly those plows still bring good prices at auctions today when changing hands again too.

I always thought it was funny how there is all this heavy iron on the hitches of these plows--- and a 1 inch bolt that takes all the pull. We have a 8 bottom Oliver pull type plow and the hitch hooks to the plow with one 1" bolt. Funny thing is that I've pulled the hitch off twice and the bolt isn't the weak link.

I can't imagine the stress on the toplink with that long of a plow! Even with a large 4-WD I don't think I would attempt that one.

That looks like it'd take a fair tractor just to pick up and transport!

You think that plow looks heavy, how much do you think that packer in back of the plow weighs? They must have some strong 3 point hitches.
