Might be metric chain. The pitch lengths are the same as U.S. chain, but the links are wider...
Any company that handles Renold chain can get metric sizes. But you might have to buy 10 foot lengths....

I once had difficulty finding a chain for my backhoe swing mechanism. The bearing houses and tractor dealers did not have it. I finally located the correct type at a fork lift dealer.

If the number is not stamped on the side of the links, you can measure the distance between the link pins, center to center, one eighth of an inch incrediments..... ..... ..1/2" is number 40, because is is 4 times 1/8" #60 chain is 6 times one eight ( 3/4"), #50 is 5/8
I am not sure how they measure #41 chain , but this sytem works for the larger chain.

Most roller chain (it is roller chain?) has the # stamped lightly onto each outside side plate. Wipe the gunk off & look in bright light.

Most any farm & fleet type supply store will have rolls of it & will cut it to the length you need.

If this chain is different or special, give us the specifics. If it has no number, they can likely match it up to the normal. I'd think a tiller would need 50, 60, or 80 in regular or H (for heavy duty).

McMaster-Carr www.mcmaster.com

Sloan Express www.sloanex.com

Shoup www.shoupparts.com

These places will require you to know the size of chain that you need, e.g. width and pitch.
