I spend considerable time each morning reading four of the forums on this site and occassionally go over to view the photo ads and the stuck and troubled section. 99% of the time I never see a rude or childish comment in any of the forums, but 99% of the time that I view comments in the stuck photos section someone is complaining or chastizing or calling someone a liar. Is it a different group visiting there? Or do the photos bring out the worst in people? Go figure I guess....

I too will have to agree with you. I just posted a couple old pictures on there to test your theory and am amazed at the rude comments. Wonder why it seems to be such a problem there. Strange!
Tim

I'll agree with you, I posted a photo awhile back and got call alot of names and insults, I won't post again. I did see the last bad post and i can see why we don't see more posts. I won't put up with the insults. Any body that takes the time to post deserves better than that. my two cents worth

Gosh guys, I thought it was me getting old but I noticed it too. Sometimes I lash out and make comments which I regret later but shucks people are good enough to take the time to share something with the group and someone has to make a foul comment. You get that occasionally on some of the other forums but it does seem to be more on stuck and troubled. They seem to be like sharks enjoying someones distress maybe it's a sign of a troubled past. I don't know but if it doesn't change it's going to slow down the number of posts on that forum. My two cents CT

Yes, I noticed it too. I don't think it always needs to be tractor & equipment related, just keep it farm & hobby related.

I've never gone to that one,but there are a few on this forum and now and again even on the Oliver forum where I spend most of my time on here. You are absoultely right though. I've even been attacked for reasonable tractor questions myself when it would have taken about a third as many words to just answer the question and be done with it. I thought when spring came, some people would get out of their basements, rub the dark out of their eyes and get to work. Guess not.

If folks would accept the new Forum software; requiring registration to post; there'd be less of that!

Most folks don't fill in the "email box"; and the post does through anyway. I almost NEVER fill it in.

If I figure there may be a need for someone to contact me regarding a post; I post my email directly. Like THIS:

ONE way the new forum software is inarguably more "user-friendly" is the ability to do back and edit a post.

ANOTHER is a functioning search function.

I"d go for a easier way to post pictures on these forums myself. I guess I can ignore the stupid empty headed comments some of the part time visitors make even though it"s hard to do. CT

There's one in particular that seems to be the "Stuck and Troubled" police. If the picture posted is not a stuck or troubled TRACTOR, he's always jumping on the person who made the post.

Sometimes, people need to just lighten up. Didn't think we were conducting brain surgery here...

Yes it seems a bunch of kids with no life landed in there. I too enjoy looking at the pictures and then reading the comments, at least until recently. Now I just view the pics and avoid the comments. I never liked Jerry Springer either.
