I snagged a manual online for a friend who is sight impaired. It is a single page pdf file and it is so small that I have trouble reading it myself. There is too much information on the page. Can I break apart (like copy and pasting) portions of the data and pictures, enlarge it and then re save it to be printed on multiple pages? If so, how?

I have very little computer skills, and have had to deal with simular subject in the past. The individuals that have replied to your thread seem to offer good advice, so this may seem unacceptable idea. But when I was in Korea (Sep 05 thru Sep 06) I dealt with having to print, alter etc. a few pages that were a pdf. You may have success in copying it to a word doc. then manipulating the data to the size print you need and print it in word. It's not the smartest way or highest technology way of doing things but it did work for me. Just my two cents of an idea if you care to try it.

Depending on what version of Adobe Reader you have, it should easily allow you to scale the viewpoint without going to all that trouble.

As Wardner said, there probably is a magnifying glass symbol at the top toolbar of Adobe reader with a + and/or - for zoom in or out.

This PC has version 7.0 on it - and it also has a drop percentage scaler that ranges from 8% (very tiny print) to 6400% (only see part of a letter on the screen).

If you don't find a way to do it with the toolbar in Adobe, try downloading and installing the latest version...

Hope this helps,
Howard

Perhaps you have an antique version of Adobe Reader installed on your computer, but you should see a plus or minus sign that is clickable. It will be at the top of your screen.

Am using 7.0.9 Adobe. I can enlarge each frame way larger than need be but I need to figure out how to save it and then print it as large as I can see it. My firend does not have access to a computer. Thanks for your help thus far.

Don't know if this will work with Adobe, but have you tried using the "Print Scr" key when the page is magnified? I think that puts the current image into the clipboard and allows you to save or print it.

I would also look through Adobe's help files.
