I have a 1956 Deere 420U with a round frontend and am planning to install a loader on it. Is it strong enough? Or should I replace it with a square frontend? Loader weighs about 1500 pounds and is a Shawnee. Good thing about it is that the rear portion of the loader bolts on to the rear axle thus distributing the weight better. Usage will be light and infrequent, not daily.
