I picked up an auction prize over there today (an old Massey 55) and coming back to Stratford - 30 miles to the north east on Highway 54 - I must have been passed by about 30 vehicles.

4 of them had Texas plates - the rest were Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, etc...

RV's, custom buses, one-ton dually's pulling travel trailers, etc... I guess the spring exodus from Arizona back to the north has begun!

I´ve seen several convoys of RVs crossing this island headed north from Cancun. Hwy 180 starts in Matamoros, crosses here and ends in Cancun. I usually see 10-15 groups of 5 or more RVs a year passing thru. Lots of Canadian plates.

Yeah I noticed lots of out of state plates driving in the rain last Friday on Hwy 60 between here and Hereford too. Snowbird migration. Some probably got snowed on coming thru here too that day lol.

I guess the snowbirds are migrating back north. See a lot of them coming from Brownsville and elsewhere. I try to avoid them. Most have no clue that there are other peple on the road.
