Looks like I'm taking a trip with my nephew to Memphis, Tennessee in either July or September. We'll be hitting all the music high spots, but I'm wondering what tractor shows I might catch while I'm there. Any suggestions?

Thanks - Jack

Thanks all. We're looking forward to the trip. We're coming from the Los Angeles area (yah, we have tractors here too). The nephew is 20 and needs a little orientation about his family ag background. He goes to UCLA and is the most conservetive person I know. He doesn't fit in very well at school. He was hoping to study banjo, his instrument of choice, but the closest thing he could find is sitar. "Why would we study anything that originated in America?" He's pretty funny when he immitates his Indian teacher. See ya in Tennessee. -Jack

Where are you coming from? I Have the Farm Show directory and it doesn't list them all but does the bigger ones. There is one July 14 in Henderson Tn. That is about 60 miles from Memphis. Sept. has one in Bolivar in the 8th, again about 60 miles or less from memphis. One the 20-22 In Waverly and one 21-22 in Sardis. Williston on October 20-21 which is right about 20 miles from Memphis.

Like I said I know there are more than that but I don't know the dates and places right now.I'll ask a few folks who go to more of them than I do and see what comes up.

They just had the yearly farm show at the Cook Convention Center in early March ...but this is all mostly new equipment ...I'll keep my ears open and see if an antique show is in the progress for the near future.
