I am in the process of removing the old spool-valve assembly and hoses from my H. I want to return to the use of the "one-way" lift-all system with my cultivator, as it will be a much cleaner and original setup as my restoration moves along. One of the problems associated with this is;;the plow does not lower,,it really "falls" with little or no control from the lift-all actuating rod. Does anyone know of an adjustable flow restrictor valve I can put in-line to hold some pressure and retard the hard "drop" of the plow to full down? Thanx in advance for the help!

If you snap the rod in it will drop hard, but if you apply gradual pressure they will lower
slowly.

I have seen what you are looking for. There is an orfice fitting on my field cultivator (IH 4800) that controls the return flow from the folding cylinders. I believe there is also a similar device on our DMI crumbler. May be sold as flow limiters / restrictors. Basically just a small hole. You may have to do some experimenting to get things right.
