I went to a rally in Austin a couple weeks ago. They had a transportation hearing and there were so many folk there that they had to set up 2 more rooms and pipe the meeting in. The next monday identical House and Senate bills were introduced to kill all private/public toll roads in the state for 2 years. (first step in killing this thing) The senate has a 2/3 majority already and the house needs just 1 more state rep to sign on for a 2/3 majority. With a 2/3 majority our crooked governer cant veto the bill. It looks like in the latest plan that the road will be 4 or 5 miles the other side of me, but it dont matter. Wrong is wrong no matter who is on the recieving end. There were lots of old folks down in austin that were losing farms that have been in their family for over 100 years. There were also folks whose kinfolks died at the alamo losing theirs if this goes through. I guarantee you that if any one of em will stand their ground (literally) I will be right there with em. I have been working hard to educate everyone I can about this deal. Texas is the trial run. THey plan on putting this "Nafta superhighway" all through the u.s into canada and mexico. It seems to be going pretty good right now. Thanks for asking! If anybody is interested, you can buy a dvd online called "Truth be Tolled" It is a wake up call. It will scare the p*ss out of you what the government can do while you arent watching. Gorilla >Link

Hmmm. Interesting. It is a good thing that it going to wait 2 years. That will give you time to load the ammo and get more troops amassed. You say the crooked governer. Who is it? My governer in Michigan is real stupid and all the industrial jobs are vanishing due to "free trade and high taxes in this state. I wonder if 5000 armed guys stood in the way of the dozers, graders and earthmovers if it would have an affect. Good luck.
