Why should e-bay or this sale be illegal? Do you really need more goverment watching out against your own foolishness? If you don't like what you see, keep walking. I've never been screwed over (except by the goverment) Unless I allowed it to happen.
This guy obviously replaced this cab as it was not safe to reuse (and likely paid for by insurance). The seller is highly aware that it's only worth the prevailing scrap price. He's just seeing if there's a sucker out there willing to haul it away for more than scrap price.
Take responsibility for your own actions, the goverment is busy enough with all the foolishness they already have on their plate.

All, I'll bet a better one can be gotten for less money, or one that requires less work to get it ready to put on for the same dollars from Abilene Maachine. That seems high to me to get a good used cab even for a JD. Also that $14000, He or the Insurance Co bought was JDs over the counter parts price! Thunder yes it will be high. That basis cab goes all te way back to 1973, recon how many really good cabs are out there just sitting in some salvage yard just waiting to be taken home to a Loving/Careing family???? LOL Later,
John A.

Don't believe there will be many bids for a JD cab that has been bent big time for $3000.

He said the muffler didn't bend when he rolled it.

I think I would have rather bent the muffler than twist that cab like he did.

How bout you?

Gary
