Is there anybody who is able to tell me what are the 6 ratios for this tractor"s transmission (5 forward and 1 reverse)? In the other hand, what is the ratio for the PTO? I went to my New Holland local dealer last week and he was not able to find this information.

Are they include the differential ratio or not (I mean 11 engine turns will make 1 turn to rear wheels in first gear)?

Is it normal to have a higher ration in secaond gear compare to the first gear?

I think Feron's eye's may have skipped a line. I'll try again. This info is from the owners manual:

1st - 17.55 to 1
2nd - 11.04 to 1
3rd - 8.31 to 1
4th - 6.02 to 1
5th - 3.38 to 1
Rev - 10.29 to 1

Rear axle ratio is 7.17 to 1

I can't provide pto gear ratio either.

The 5 speed info is located directly below the 4 speed info in the manual. It appears Feron got the two mixed together as he was typing! I did too until I caught myself (luckily before posting this response).

I think we would have a known engine rpm giving us a known 540 pto speed, so the pto could be figured out by a smart fellow?

(Note I am not giving a number here.....)
