Hi Gang;
Still looking for a small 2wd tractor to play with. This Ford 4110 (55HP gross 3 cyl)was on e-bay this week over here. Been on golf course all its life, fitted with Terra Tyres. Looks very nice - resprayed?
Bet the power steering pump has had a hard life !
Sold for $12,000 By the way that MF350 I've been looking at is still for sale, guy phones me everyday ! Price down to $16,775 but still OVER PRICED.

watch out for golf course equip- many hours and miles- wear you can;t see and you said they sprayed this one/// I bought 12' gang mowers off golf course once, they looked good but were worn out, not the running parts but bed plates and reels were not even able to be sharpened again, had to rebuild them, costly but in the end really worth it- still have some extra mowers if anyone is interested 6' and 12' cut

Those aren't terra tires... these are terra tires!!

I'm surprised a golf course would even allow those bar tread tires to touch their turf! They'd make a mess quick.

Hi Gang;

to Hurst & Billy NY - its a 2wd with oversized front terra tyres.

to 1936 - dont think I can fit a WHOLE golf course into a container ! LoL.

Its was 250 miles from here, too far away to view by the time I spotted it on ebay. Its gone - damn it ! These 4110's would be usefull with 55HP gross but I never liked that adjustable swept back front axle - far too similar in specification to a Ford 9N/Fergy 20 !!!

Cheers David

Totally missed that, looking at the front wheel, there is no hub, hence, no FWA, and the lack of turf tires is odd for golf course work, typically, those wide turf tires are used and with floaters on the front.

Not that long ago there was a nice Ford thousand series with FWA in the photo ads and I think it was under $10,000, looked nice in the ad, and being a blue fan, it caught my eye, ideally and at some point I'd like to get something like that or similar in the industrial line, with the FWA and a loader, for compost manufacture, same money could get me a much older smaller size pay loader, but having a 3 pt and pto makes it more useful, and easier to justify, even though the preceding would move more material easily.

is that a tractor or a Tinker toy. If they keep making them shorter they will have to put the fronts wheels inside the rear wheels.

I have two Kubota's one short wheel base one long wheel base the long wheel base is a lot nicer to ride on all day while mowing or baling. Walt

Is that FWA or 4WD or is it a 2wd with flotation tires. Doesn't 4wd or FWA get bigger hubs. Those look just like the front hubs on my 6610 and 7610 2wd tractors. It looks like a 2wd to me... 6 lug fronts would be awfully light for 4wd or FWA.

Oh my gosh that is the Hulk Hogan of Ford tractors. That is the toughest looking Ford I have ever seen. Make my 3000 look like a lawn tractor. I love it!!!

When you can would be interesting to see a picture of the golf course. Would that fit in a 20 foot container?

I'll respond with an "emphatic" Yes ! 55 HP with FWA, it would sell around here no problem. Looks taken care of, had a home with a roof which is always nice. The older 4110's and 2110's were the low center of gravity types, (LCG) but that one looks like the last of the 4000 series with FWA, but without the wide stance those older LCG's had, which would make me feel a lot safer on some of those hills you have shown us,( really amazing landscape over there ) the LCG's were also very common on golf courses here and for mowing by highway departments and municipalities for that same reason, they were good sellers, and a lot of them are still around. I think there is one with our dealer sticker on it, still on the golf course nearby.

Those tires would be great for first cut hay here when the fields are very soft.
