You think the F235 hangs out in front too far, check out a new Allied loader that is designed for front-wheel assist tractors:

We handle two bales at a time with this one regularly and haven't had a lick of trouble with it yet. The Case front end is pretty heavy duty, and nice wide tires up front for floatation on this one. We try to keep a bale on the 3-point spear when loading in the field to minimize stress on the front end.

This one is the back up tractor during the winter, just too big to get around the corrals and the duals are way too hard to be putting on and off all the time (full cast centers!). Just thought I would share - I'll get better pics when I'm home in a couple weeks.

Hey!

Just thinking 'bout you and these Gawwd-fersakin' loaders. Guess I'm just stuck back in the past. :>)

Yeah, That Allied is what Gary over in Iowa has. They really look like the ticket to me. I really like the way they mount. Up high or something.

Now, about this silly Farmhand. I did what ya told me and finally got the old beast on there, but I'm tellin' ya, just don't know if I'll ever get used to these front hangers. The tractor doesn't even act like it's on there, but it sure bothers me. :>)

Every blessed thing is riding on that front axle including the weight of the loader and it's mounts too. Think I just gotta put on that little F-11 grapple head; if for no other reason than to make me feel better. That 8 foot bucket just seems "too darned big" to me. :>(

Good news is I finally figured out the silly tire "bounce" I was getting from these goofy radial tires going down the road. I put the rears up to 21 lbs and the fronts to 40 lbs and she rides smooth as a Cadillac now. :>)

Dang! You oughta be able to feed from the house with the amount of reach that loader has! : )

If you are gonna run 21 psi in those tires why don't you send them my way. I have a set of bias tires I will trade you for. 21 might be a bit high, seems like 18 is about the max recomended pressure with the max axle load. Those radials should actually ride nicer than bias ply and probably be run at about 6-10 psi depending on application. Now if the fronts were low that may cause a bad bounce with that loader on her.

Hey you got that Farmhand mounted.

I will say that is a big bucket on that loader.

How wide is that thing?

Gary

Gotta admit,

I do like that unobtrusive view tho. Maybe I'll get used to the darned old thing.

Yeah, you'll get used to it! Before the 1256 we had a 656 and F11 combo - it worked really nice when things were good, but wouldn't move through the slop and snow very well. Before that it was a 400 w/F11 and before that I think it was an M w/F11. Dad had that F11 for probably more than 20 years before we finally let 'er go.

Beats the heck out of the H and F10 Grandpa fed with! Of course he only had 25 cows to take care of... :o)
