Hey guys i just bought a Fordson Major Diesel. Where do i find the serial number. Where can i get a few mis parts such as injector lines, muffler, Orginal seat pad. I want to make her look like a new one, My dad had bought one new when i was a kid but i do not know that much about them. But never less i have 14 other tractors to welcome it to the farm Ha . Any help will be apericated

Learned to drive on an old fordson major. Great memories always looking for an excuse to drive it. Have fun restoring it. Post on the Fordson board lots of help over there. seantn

I love the old Major, they are a beautiful tractor.
By memory the numbers were on the firewall behind the engine. There is a good website for old Fordsons if you do a search for it. They had some links to a site where you could enter the numbers and it would tell you the year etc.
