My knees are getting bad. I have a ford 5610 with a loader that I use constantly.
After a couple of hours my knee is killing me from all the up & down motion.
How could I install a hydraulic assist to make it a lot softer?
Thanks Tommy

Trade up for a loader tractor with a hydro and you will wonder how you ever got along without it.

My knee jerk reaction, pun intended, to your post is: Have a hard look at the vacuum booster used for automotive power brakes and see about adapting that type system. I realize with a diesel you might be adding a vacuum pump but that also might come from auto salvage.

Sounds like a great idea. I'm sure that there are many ways to accomplish what you're suggesting. If I were in your shoes, I would partner with a local shop that seems innovative. They could help you explore what might work best. Keep in mind that you may actually be developing a new product that has patent potential.
