Helo all.
I have a Ford 1900 with a loader. I have been having problems with the lift going very slow at times, even not raising at all sometimes. Other times it works fine. Now this morning I"m clearing snow and having the same problem but got it done, but when I put it away I went to drop the bucket and it raised. So now it raises with the valve in either direction and won"t come down unless I shut it off and then let it down. It"s the same with the dump on the bucket. It dumps with the valve in either direction and won"t return.
I would really appreciate any insight or suggestions I could get as to what might be causing this.
Thanks a million,
Jim

If there are any qd's in this setup, disconnect them and re-seat them.

post back.

Thanks souNdguy for the reply. I"ll give that a try as soon as I can. All of the lines going to the loader are quick disconnect.
What would be happening here for that to make a difference?
Thanks,
Jim

One or more QD's may have come unseated.. if this happens the oil will not flow, and may be bypassing within the laoder valve.. just a guess.. but I've seen lots of hyd problems due to unseated QD's.
