My trusty but wore out old F150 finnaly gave up and broke down. Funny though she broke right in front of a Ford dealer. Turns out it would take more to fix than she was worth and would still need the whole front end rebuilt.

Wife was with me and she said " Instead of putting all that money into this old truck. Why dont you get a different one."

I looked at her with my mouth wide open and said " Huh.... You ok? " She said " yea, Youve been needing a new truck for a long time."

Cool! I asked the guy. What do you have in a F250, 4 wheel drive and a power stroke? He had lots that were way out of my price range. But he did have this one.

1995 F250 7.? power stroke turbo diesel. 4wheel drive, 104,000 mi, Plow, Lock outs and that cool AG hitch on the back for pulling my hay racks.

Even these old ones cost too much. this one stuck me for about $9000 and my old truck.

Got a chance try her out in the snow right away.

That would be a 7.3 very good engine and truck. I have a 95 just like that. Very good pulling power beat that truck all day. In mine I have a manual transmission with a low first gear. If you got a heavy load on her that helps you move that load or if you’re in deep mud or snow. That price is not too bad I would see if they would go 8,880 on it worth a shot. Other then that very nice looking truck.

That's a nice '95...very nice. That snow won't hurt it much, but I hope you don't have to get it into stuff like the %^&*$#$%^salt and sand-mix-slime they put on our roads here in Michigan every time a snowflake falls. I've got a nice '95 F150 and I do my best to keep it free of this slop. No matter how much you get these Fords of this body style washed up, that road salt-sand-slime will eventually eat up it's body down in the trapped lower portions. My '93 Eddie Bauer Bronco is starting to look like it lost a war with a land mine. My daughter drove it back and forth to work 2 years and apparently didn't get it washed nearly enough. Salt is too cheap in Michigan, IMHO it should cost $50,000 or more a ton. Anyhow, sorry to rant and Good luck with your "new" truck...it's sure a pretty one!

I think that you made a great trade. You'll be thrilled at the differences between a F-150 and a F-250.

You need good transportation. You would put a lot of money in your old truck, and still have a old truck. As for the miles I don't think it is excessive, if it was taken care of. If it had a major problem it would probably been noticed by now pushing the snow. Enjoy your truck. Stan
