I am currently building a pulling tractor out of a styled John Deere A that was given to me. The motor is stuck. I removed the powerblock with the pistons in it. My neighbor has a John Deere 60 block that is very clean that he will give to me. What would you do? Bore out the powerblock or leave it alone and put the 60 block in it completely bore it out? Whats the maximum I can bore it out? What pistons will work?

I would get the pistons out of the powerblock and bore it out to 6.125" run your stock crank, rods, head. I just took out a set of 6.125" pistons you could use. I ran this setup for about 8 years and did real good. This is very cheap to build and is very trouble free. If you have any questions e-mail me and I will try to help.
