Ive been wanting this 35 farmall f-20 for awile, and the older man is wishy washy about letting it go, what do i do with people like this?
Do I just lay the money on the table so he can see it and then he:ll maybe go for it?
Or just keep bugging him till he say,s ok and then get it,
I know He:ll never redo it and it just sit,s there in his yard of a welder,s shop,
It,s got the rare french and hecht rear wheel,s, but the one on the left rear is rusted thru in the rim part,

Put to gether a real plan with the part numbers and sources for the repair. Find a tracter like it "will" be in the photos, and give him a chance to see your intentions and sincerity. Indicate the fact that he can come and visit it while it is being restored, and drive it when done. This would be in the spirit of neighborliness and the tractor recovery would be an axample of that philosophy. JimN

The tractor belongs to the old man, when he is ready to sell it, he will. If you keep on pestering him, he just might sell it to someone else.

Yes. Lay the money on the table. If he can see it and touch it he will give in.
