Hi Gang;
21st February and this guy has got his ploughing done ready to plant early potatoes & barley. We have had some heavy rains as well as sunshine so its just too wet to get tractors & planters to work - wont be long though.
This is the extreme south westerly tip of Wales, old red sandstone soil, easy to work down, warms up quickly and very productive. Some of the guys who grow potatoes also grow daffodil flowers for bulbs.
Note the yellow flowering Gorse in the foreground, and the orange-brown colour of the Bracken on the steep slopes.
