Tractor By Net. A board dealing primarially with the newer little tractors. aka garden tractors on steroids.
If it does not have a hydro you are nobody over there :)

"If it does not have a hydro you are nobody over there :)"

You`re only "nobody" if you let some of those guys make you feel like a nobody. Remember that you probably were doing actual work with your non-hydrostatic tractor while most of those guys were still in diapers.

That being said, it can be a very interesting site and there are many intelligent posters.

Too add to that. if it is not brand new, 4wd, hydro, with a fel and backhoe, and a parking lot full of the most expensive name brand implements, then you are in the minority.

As it is said on many websites.. they will spend your money faster on tbn than anywhere else.. how fast is your wallet?

And yes.. a huge amount of the advice offer-ers are people who just moved out of the city.. have a new scut tractor with 2.5 hours in the seat, and they are now an expert about telling you what can or can't be done with your old 80hp tractor that's been doing what it's been doing before they were born..

And our old classic tractors will still be running when those plastic/aluminum hydros are in the junk heap :)

That is if you can still buy parts for them in 20 years. That is one of the reason I do not like to buy anything that is made in Japan if I am going to spend big bucks on it. I have sold Japanese alnw & garden products for quite a few years and on some fo the older Echo, for example, after they get a little age on them parts become obsolete

Many Echo products became "unsupported" and obsolete when their US distributor changed back in the early 90s. Most parts for older stuff simply wasn`t carried. That is a fault with the distributor and the parent company for allowing it IMO. I had a few Echo saws at that time but I never looked back toward Echo after that point.
