Think any of the tractors they're building these days will be in operation in 65 years? I'll bet in 65 years most new tractors will be either electric (nah) or maybe steam powered. Or maybe some combination of solar, electric and steam. One thing I'm pretty sure of: they won't run on gasoline.

My H turns 64 this fall, and my M will be 58 later this spring. I know they'll outlast me, and I think they'll llikely outlast my son. Some of those old Farmalls will still be doing work when they are 100 years old.

Do you think anyone at the factory ever thought about those shiney new modern tractors being 100 years old? Hard too believe, isn't it. They sure don't look that old..... maybe it's just us!

What nice, honest looking old tractors you have. Be sure to throw them a special party this year! My SUPER 88 will turn 50 on May 7 so she will celabrate her birthday with a 6 row White planter in tow. Great pictures, thanks for sharing.

Kirk

Your H is the same age as I am, but I have already made the 65 grade in January. I have 2 tractors older than I and am restoring one now that was born in 1942, just like me. The other 12 tractors are newer, born from 1944 to 1960. My newest tractor was made the same year I graduated from high school... Gene

I've had a Farmall M, 300, 350, 400,2 SUPER C'S, Super A, F12 and it always amazed me how well they ran after all those years. I know the F12 was made in 1935 and ran like a new one. Something else I loved about the Farmalls is how simple they were built and even I could work on and fix them. Finally sold them all and had to get a small tractor that was easier to get on and off of.( 860 Ford)
