Wondering if anyone could tell me if the conversion kits out there would convert a 58-59 model 671 diesel over to a flathead? Just curious if the bell housing pattern is the same from the flathead to overhead valve design or not. I bought a 671 basket case, and am considering the conversion, if it would work. If not, I suppose it will continue its life as a diesel.
