Hi Gang;
Saw this whilst driving down a lane, who says sheep are stupid animals. These two are finding it easier and have less competition by standing on top of the silage bale.
Cheers David

The wool even looks different on them than sheep here. When do they actually shear them over there? Most here shear the top of back some and back side soon and then shear all over when it gets warmer. Some don't dock all sheep here like they use to and markets don't seem to dock in price much either. Just makes them look funny and messy you like said though.

Hey Allan;
I dont believe they do dock tails on sheep as a widespread practice.
Remember at agric college having to trim sheep's feet, and trimming around their rear end to cut away the soiled wool - YUK !!! Also they trim the ewes' tails of wool prior to running them with rams for "tupping".

Hey, I just noticed.

Don't they dock the tails on sheep over there?

Allan

That's a good question there Allan- I can't say I've ever seen one with a tail before, atleast not one that long before.

They look kinda odd to me....
Then again, I'm sure I'd look kinda odd to them too....
