larry...no room left in my shop anymore cuz there's two tractors in there! i think i'm back in the doghouse tho...me and my big mouoth. the boy and i were getting the 20 the shop in using the 35 as a tow vehicle, and "you know who" was snapping pictures of the process. after getting both tractors all the way in i jumped off the 35 and gleefully yelled to my boy..."now that's the way this shop should look and there's no room for any more silly girly projects!!"....uh oh. now i know what the phrase "spinning on her heel" means as i watched her doing her mad stomp all the way back to the house. uh...what you havin' for supper buddy old pal?

a note of good news tho. the 20 has been sittin' for about 3 years now. i threw the boost charger on it and hit the switch....and it turned over!! tomorrow starts the tear down. oh and...if i can find where the camera got hid i'll post you a pic or two.

Hey Mike,

Keep repeating after me, "I have the right to remain silent..... . Of course once you move to the south, you lose the "ability" to remain silent. That isn"t your fault - I think it is something in the air.

But I got revenge for both of us. I painted my grill last week, using the kitchen table (appropriately covered)as a work table. By the time the wife got home, I had moved it to the shop. When questioned about the paint odor, I reminded her that I sometimes take a shortcut from the basement to the shop by way of the kitchen. It wasn"t a lie, but rather a statement of a fact not related to the current conversation. I didn"t "say" I had carried a paint project thru the kitchen that particular day! Note: Given your current lack of "ability", you might want to stock your shop with a few cans of beanie-wienies and a box of crakers.

Larry

larry...now you know i'm originally from northern indiana...couldn't keep my mouth shut there either. maybe it's heredity..."heir" not air?

i gotta admit, you either have a whole lot more "moxy" than this here fool. ( or you're alot dumber than i thought you were) even as bad as i am i'd never paint anything on "you know who's" kitchen table. if she'da come home early you'd have found my "shortcut"...to the doghouse instead of from the basement to the shop. then who'd be eatin' beanie weenies? which by the way tells me i don't have an invite for supper at your house???

Hey Mike,

I think I will plead that it was heredity also that made me do it. I once watched the old man take a well pump motor apart, repair it, and put it back together - right in the middle of the living room floor! It was back in the 50's and the weather was bad, snowing and down to about minus five degrees. The eletricity had gone off in the night and thus his heat light in the wellhouse didn't work. When the water lines froze, the pump motor kept running. When he brought it in, my mom gave him a look like, "not in my house". He gave her a look back like, "no water, five kids, minus five, and no money to pay to have it fixed - don't push it". Needless to say, he had everybody's total attention and cooperation until he finished it.

Note: Beanie-wienies aren't too bad, if you heat them? Just in case..... ...

hey dawg...i'm not much of a ford tractor guy...got 4 ford trucks tho. if that number IS your tractor's serial number you have a 1950 model 8N...but i'm not sure about this. if you'll go from here back to the forum and look at the header where it says, "show all forums" and click on it, you can scroll down to the "ford forum"...there will be lots of guys there that can help you better than i can. keep checking this post tho as i'm sure someone will jump in here and give you more info.
