I have a 1943S Standard Case, on rubber. Unlike the pictures I have seen, it has flat spoke wheels on the rear criss-crossing one another from hub to rim. The tractor seems to be all original. Could the rims have been steel at one time adn converted to rubber, or was this type of spoke offered? Thanks in advance for your reply. I appreciate it.

I have the same thing on a 1942 Case S. 11 x 26 tires. The word we got when we got it in the late 1940s was that it was originally on steel due to the war.

Thanks everyone. I will have to check the tire size. My dad and I bought it in the late 60's when I returned from the service. The engine was locked up, so we gave it a complete overhaul and it pulled a bush hog for several years, but has been in storage for a long while. i want to get it running again and have some fun with it. Thanks again everyone.

My parts book only shows spokes on steel wheels so I surmise that your tractor has been converted from steel to rubber. This would not be surprisong as it was a wartime tractor.

i have a S that has cut offs on the back .The wheels are 24" rims and 12.4s for tires.Could use bigger wheels like a WD 28" rim that would be nice for ground speed.
