Hi Gang;
Spotted these little critters this morning in a field above the harbour at Fishguard. Look like Suffolks to me (?).
They lamb here outdoors because the weather is mild. Upland flocks are brought into the farm buildings for a couple of days whilst lambing before they go back out to grass.
The mountain flocks dont lamb until April when all chance of snow has gone. They bring the ewes down from the mountain to a pasture near the farmyard to lamb where they can look after them if required.
Cheers David

All of yours are great pictures. I never knew that there were so many large, 4-wheel drive tractors in the UK. Question: Is the bramble planted or just allowed to grow to re-inforce the fence? That area doesn't look a lot like Central Texas.

I agree! No matter how bad or boring a day I am having sitting here in my office the pictures that Allan and David post keep me going. The pictures help me keep my sanity until spring gets here and I can get back to farming. I don't know if I can ever get the wife on a plane, but I think I'd like to visit England one day? I'd like to see my homeland of Germany as well.

And it really is amazing how this internet has brought people from so many walks of life together. Here David is a half a world away and I fell like he's an old friend cause I know so much about him. And all though Allan is closer than David, I feel like I know him to
