In reference to your earlier response to the “OT EBAY seller scammed me“ post, in which you imply that you acquired another like implement after selling the original one locally, we really do need to defend your “good name”. So please furnish proof of purchase or name and contact information for your supplier. Even though you are completely above board, your ethics have been called into question here. We just can not let the happen “EVER”. So let’s give them the proof. I regret your having to do this but know of no other option and am afraid it will cost you money otherwise.

Allen, Maybe said person could give us another of his ethics and honesty speeches. By the way, pardner YOU better be really wraped up. I see on the weather channel that it's about -8 out there with a mean wind chill. Bad enough here in Nashville....31F. Don

Aw heck!

Can't we just call this an "error in judgement" and let it pass?

The ol' boy sure doesn't seem like a bad sort to me; just kinda slipped a tad on this one, is all.

We all make a mistake now and again.

Allan

You have to be kidding me, kinda slipped a little bit on this one? Since when has being a crooked seller become an "error in judgement". To me it seems being a liar is never acceptable, especially in a business dealing. Oh well, guess I am to used to the ethics our local dutch businessmen use daily.

Yep, kinda made a mountain out of a mole hill there.
I'll admit that the rules do change a bit when you deal with anything on eBay, but basically it's no different from taking something to a local consignment auction. If it won't bring what you want, you don't sell it.
