Hi Gang;
Sorry to read that so many of you are burried in snow & ice - hope you all survive.
Took this photo lunch time to-day 21st January
its 54F but the wind is bittingly cold from the west (ex-USA). The forecast is for snow for the north of England - its almost unheard of down here next to coast.
Cheers David

Nice photo. When I first glanced at the lighter colored (coloured) tree to the right of and behind the bigger one, I thought the sheep had hung a coyote by the hind legs and were field dressing him :>)

Just wondering, what is that growing in the tree, Some sort of vine ? All we have in the winter are small bunches of mistletoe growing in our trees.. That is a great picture.. Thanks for sharing..

It sure looks like English ivy, what my arborist nephew here in S.C. would call "English tree killer." Wm

Love to photo! I live here in Tennessee and we luckily have missed most of the really bad weather. It is cold and wet but that is about all.

Got a email friend up on Mold Wales though and i bet they are going to get some of that snow. Keep sending the pics and I really enjoy looking at the countryside there.

That sure looks a lot like here in the Willamette Valley of Oregon.We've had a little snow twice, 4" first time & 3" the second time.We are between the coast range & the cascade mtns.That picture is like looking west toward the coast. The farm I grew up on had small fields thet we planted oats, peppermint and had hay & pasture land. The hill ground was pasture with large oak trees.The higher hills have Douglas fir on them.Beautiful country here & there.

Hi;
I'm in Dinas Cross, small village 3 miles up the coast from Fishguard on the Cardigan Road. We are on the coast side of the village, down toward Pwll Gwaelod, 1 mile from sea.
Missed the worst of the storms, surrounded by trees, and our power didnt go off.
Cheers David
