I have an old late 70s Cadillac, possibly only good for parts but was in good mechanical condition when parked outside years ago.I do not want to see it scrapped because sure that someone must be in need of this item. Can anyone give me any ideas to match this with a person in need other than a scrap crusher.Houston Area.Engine is probably 488-500 C.I.

For Joe in Tx.I am not familiar with how to open my E-mail on this sight without flatout posting it for the world to see. However my phone # is 830 997 8296.The car is near Katy,Tx.about 25 miles West of Houston. It is parked on a farm that I am vacating which is 200 miles from my present residence in Fredericksburg.I will be at Katy most of this coming week. The car must be moved by Feb.10.I can be reached on cell phone 281=857-9576 if not at home. Thanks John Cooney.Possibly you can call me and reverse the charge.

I might can help find someone interested. I can't email you since you did not leave an address. E mail additional information as to year and location. I have some friend in the DFW Cadillac club.

Cadillac-Lasalle club is headquartered here in the Deetroit area. Used to be a member. They might have someone who wants it. Gotta love those big v-8's!

Google for the Cadillac Club, there'll be a chapter in the closest mid-size town and maybe closer. Let them know and it won't last long. Good luck.

The 471-500 cu in were torque monsters, over 500 lbs. and the engine are fairly light. The engines are sought after from what I read. I would not junk it for sure.

Try Craig's list (www.craigslist.org). They have lists for most major cities, and lots of collectors, etc. frequent the lists.

I agree, put it on craigslist. You will recieve some scam offers, but you will also recieve some legitimate inquirys. You just gotta sort 'em out.
