We've got a 1990 regular cab dually with the 454 gas engine that came back to us when the garage putting payments on it went belly up. Does anyone happen to know what this beast can pull? I've never found out. Thanks for any help

should say on the door jamb what it is.I have the same with a bowtie on it. and there are alot of options that were available to increase that load but the glove box codes can tell you what you have if extra. think std rear axles is 5000# rated.they had options for 10000# rated.
It is a thirsty devil. I like my f350 better and think it can haul more tho.

A lot, but it will depend a lot on the hitch. Using a bumper hitch, you're limited to 500# tounge weight, which will hold you to about 3000#. With class 5 reece hitch, using a ball or pintle hitch, depending on the trailer,12000 to 14000#. Using a 5th wheel hitch with a gooseneck trailer,up to 20000#. That 454 is a good strong engine, but it's a heavy eater.
