I put up streetsigns and road signs for the county. I drive all of the post with a manual driver. Does someone make a driver that one man can handle and maybe mount on a pick-up truck? powered Hyd. or air. Maybe even off of battery power.

There was a custom fence builder here that had one on a truck.

It was mounted behind the cab in the side of the flat bed.

It was a Shaver tractor pounder that was adapted for the truck.

Hydraulic driven off a pump on the truck transmission.

Slid out on rails from the truck to reach out away from the truck.

Rohrer Manufacturing in Oregon makes air powered post drivers in 5 sizes. I have the basic model 98-E and it really does a fine job on T-posts. You will need an air compresser. It is just a on-man job, and so much better than a manual drivers. I have not tried ther larger models, which are supposed to drive various sizes of pipes, etc. Go to www.rohrermfg.com Tom
