I was just kinda wondering if anybody here would know what a pair of suitcase weights could fetch.

My dad got them from the dealer he worked at in the 70's for winter weight for his camero and then never gave them back. Now they're sitting around collecting rust because we farm with Massey and Oliver.

At one time we had them on the 285 along w/ a big chunk of concrete and 2 MF weights, but the tractor desn't need that extra weigth anymore so I took them off a while ago.

Any ideas? If anybody wants 'em, I'll gladly sell or trade for Oliver or MF weights, or a pair of 11L-15's on rims from an Oliver w/ the valve stems on the inside.

found this picture in the photo ads, this is what they look like except a little more rust.... third party image

I can't quite see the whole weight but they weigh either 100 or 110 lbs. A tractor yard would sell them for maybe $55 and at auction they would bring $25 to $55 with maybe a $45 average.

I have no idea right now, but they're about 1 1/2-2" thick. I'll have to throw one on a scale some time.

Where are you at? I'm in Kaukauna

They are 45 kg or 100 lbs as I remember. If that's not the exact number then it's 47kg/105 lbs. They usually weigh right at 100 lbs!
