I'm in the process of building some minature operating air/steam stationary motors, and looking into a minature steam tractor.
Is anyone out there making minature machinery for such machines?
I love to make the motors, but I think they need some work to do!!

I agree a generator is a nice load. A old table saw can be a treat as well, a nice demo can be made to mill wood into shapes. If dressed up it could be a "saw mill". I attached a nice engine I photoed at Pioneer Days in Albany MN this year. Enjoy, JimN

belt it to a generator to run some lights. that will get you some load that can be controled. enjoy your models. old art
