Bought a fancy new IMac and just can"t fiqure out how to keep the script size large. I know how to make it large but can"t seem to find a way to keep it from defaulting back to small print. Darn frustrating. Anybody familiar with these systems. I tried the help line but takes forever to get through so I thought I would try here. thanks.

Is it still true that the Mac's aren't as prone to virus etc. as a windows based PC? I'm guessing they don't have all of the other program problems associated with the Microsoft software also? I have been getting so frustrated lately that I'm about ready to jump!

I think it is still true though they are not virus proof. I made the jump a couple of years ago because I was issued one at work mainly for time submission. As I became familiar with them I decided to buy a couple of surplus Power Mac's from the department to replace our lightning fried PC at home.

How do you lock the font size forever so you dont have to enlarge the print everytime you open mozilla up? I want to set it at a larger size but only lasts until you close the brozer then you have to enlarge it again. Thanks

Tools->Options->Content->Fonts & Colors->Size

I have mine set on "18." Any larger and you'll start having format issues.

I assume you're talking about the font size on web pages. If you're using Safari as a web browser then it's set in the Preferences under the Safari Menu, apearance tab.

If you're using Firefox (which is a better browser) then it's in Preferences under the Firefox Menu, Content button.

Hope this helps

Thanks RP2, that did it just fine. I am using Firefox. Now all I have to do is fiqure out how to get all my pictures back into folders. When they got moved over they all went into one big folder under Iphoto.

A good trick with Firefox is you can enlarge the text by hitting "Ctrl-+" (or whatever the equivalent is on a Mac). This only affects the current tab, which makes it nice if you have one site open where the text is OK and another where the text is too small.

Well, for the three or four days that we have had it up and running I like it. Of course the old windows 98 that I was using was OK for my purposes but this system can also run windows as well if you buy the installation. It's just taking awhile to fiqure out the differences.
